EXERCISES
EXERCISES
For our exercise, we have to make a visual geolocation in conjunction with the concept we have for Game Art. I decided to focus on 3 locations, a mystical forest, icy biome and the seaside.

Mr Kannan said my illustrations lack narrative and believability, so I decided to try my hands on a village setting as I felt that it was a bit hard for me to take on environmental art.

Mr Kannan said my illustration feels a bit empty, and the perspective is off. I decided to redo Nifte village after the feedback.

PROJECT 2
For project 2, we will do the interior of the location we did in project 1, thus I decided to try on a tavern. Using references, I sketched out the perspective and angles I would like to showcase in the Tavern.

Mr Kannan told me to work on either no.1 or no.3, I picked no.3.

Oude = Old in Dutch, so an indirect translation of the Tavern's name is: Ye Old Bar.
FINAL PROJECT
For our final project, we will be doing a breakdown of our in-game assets/ buildings and compile everything into an Environment Bible. It was a hectic journey overall and I really felt that I've made a lot of improvements compared to Semester 3. I will keep pushing myself to reach new heights and learn more skills and techniques in drawing and compositing illustrations :)
Here is my Environment Bible:
