EXERCISES

For the first task, we have to pick 6 different locations from Unsplash, and do a visual study in terms of the vanishing point, value study. Here is my 6 locations:

After that, we have to narrow down to 3 locations, and do 1 polished location of our choice. To train our eyes, Mr Kannan told us to do 9 different angles and perspective per location. We have to breakdown each image and capture the big shapes, after that, do the value study in grayscale. This exercise is a preparation process for our Project 1.

FINAL PROJECT

Finally, for our final project, we have to animate our matte and turn it into a thematic matte painting. But before going to AfterEffects, I decided to make some changes because I felt that the mood and narrative isn't sufficient.

Overall, it was an informative experience for me in this module. Environment isn't really my forte, but I will continue to learn and improve myself for the future :)
