Here comes the fun part, designing our book cover page. I personally have no knowledge prior in book layouts or book cover designing, but I did take up typography in Semester 1, so I have at least the basic knowledge on how to play my body of texts inside the book. Over the following weeks, Dr Hayati helped me in designing the layout and book cover by giving me some tips on how to create a consistent and appealing visual design for my book.

I tried my first attempt in designing the book cover but it just felt.. missing. Dr Hayati said to find some image and references on Pinterest using the keywords : "Emotion, Empathy, Abstract painting" and use the image for the background.

Dr Hayati also helped me with the book title, using various typography to create some characteristics so that the book would look interesting. I should also touch up on my fictional character as well.

After amending the book cover with Dr Hayati's remarks, here is the final version:

Before I submit my visual design, I made sure I had the green light from Dr Hayati for my Dissertation Draft.
